Aerodynamics Engineer
HUST is currently seeking one dedicated student to take on the Aerodynamics role for the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge 2027. As an Aerodynamics Engineer at HUST, you will shape the outer body of the solar car to minimize drag and maximize efficiency. You will work with aerobody, canopy, and wheelhouse design — combining engineering precision with creative problem-solving to push performance further.

Work on the car’s aerobody, canopy, and wheelhouses
Contribute directly to the car’s efficiency and performance
Collaborate with the mechanical and Electrical team to find solutions to efficiency questions
As part of this role, you will:
We’re looking for someone who:
Is enrolled in an engineering program
Isn’t afraid of setbacks and challenges
Has a strong interest in structural design and manufacturing
Has CAD experience in 3DEXPERIENCE Generative Shape Design (or similar programs)
Is passionate about sustainability, technology, and innovation
Has some experience with lamination (preferred but not mandatory)
Has a great attention to detail
