Composite Lamination Engineer
HUST is currently seeking three dedicated students to join the lamination/Bodywork team for the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge 2027. As a Composite Lamination Engineer at HUST, you will work hands-on with the car’s carbon and glass fiber structure. You will play a key role in manufacturing lightweight, high-strength components that ensure both performance and safety on the road.

Take responsibility for the lamination processes throughout the project
Complete lamination safety training provided by Halmstad University
Lead discussions and collaboration with our lamination partners
Work closely with the mechanical team to bring the car’s design to life

Has a strong interest in manufacturing processes
Isn’t afraid of setbacks and challenges
Is passionate about sustainability, technology, and innovation
Has some experience with mechanical systems or materials (preferred but not mandatory)
